24/7 help and support for North West Regional College’s security systems
Ongoing maintenance, remedial and new project work covering all of the security and fire safety systems across the college estate.
Further education college North West Regional College (NWRC) has spent more than £20 million to upgrade and improve its campuses since 2010. With that level of investment, the college needs high quality security and fire systems to protect its buildings and, more importantly, the 10,000-plus students using them.
We are contracted to provide ongoing planned preventative maintenance, reactive and remedial works, and new project works for all fire and security systems across NWRC’s five campuses and 11 buildings.
Intuitive and integrated systems
At the college’s Springtown campus, we undertook the installation, commissioning and handover of ExacqVision Enterprise CCTV servers, with internal and external intelligent IP CCTV cameras. The CCTV is integrated with intruder alarms, fire detection and access control systems, and presented on a graphical user interface (GUI) that delivers detailed, intuitive metrics to the operator.
At the same campus, we upgraded the fire detection system by installing, configuring, testing and commissioning a system to give NWRC very early detection and the opportunity to respond quickly in the event of a fire.
Meticulous planning and rapid response
We operate a 24/7 alarm receiving centre to immediately report and escalate any security or fire alarms, as well as other issues relating to the security systems. We have a supervisor and engineer on-site and available for out-of-hours call-out to swiftly resolve any problems.
We also provide support for any minor or major works relating to NWRC's integrated and standalone security systems across its estate, including access control systems, automatic traffic barriers, CCTV systems, fire alarms, emergency lighting, intruder detection, remote monitoring and voice alarm systems. We deliver all planned preventative maintenance in accordance with priority ratings and monthly key performance indicators (KPI’s).
